A. The Learning Exchange, based in Kansas City, MO, founded the first Exchange City in 1980.

Q. What is the Learning Exchange?
A. The Learning Exchange is a non-profit national education consulting organization serving teachers, businesses, museums and educational organizations.

Q. What is Exchange City?
A. Exchange City is a hands-on economics earning program for Middle and High School students.  It combines an optional 2-week or six-week classroom curriculum with a field trip visit to our state-of-the-art city, run by students.

Q. Where is Exchange City located?
A. There are currently twenty four Exchange City sites across the USA, with many more planned.

Sites include: Phoenix, AZ; West Palm Beach, FL; Des Moines, IA; Quad Cities, IL; Fort Wayne, IN; Indianapolis, IN; New Orleans, LA; Baltimore, MD; Chicago, IL;  Detroit, MI; Kansas City, MO; Minneapolis, MN; Charlotte, NC; Portsmouth, NH; Columbus, OH; Tulsa, OK; Oklahoma City, OK; Philadelphia, PA; York, PA; Memphis, TN; Nashville, TN; Houston, TX and Providence, RI.
